Born in Germany and adopted by American, Lars’ formation began in Hamburg during 1996, where he studied sound engineering, while he made a little time to host a show in the local radio station, by the name of “House Sound of Hamburg”. His radio hobby, would continue in the marathon sessions of eight hours, with “Global House Connection” and to make it clear, he would also be part of the acclaimed American show “Deeper Shades of House”, which recently had its 10th anniversary of being on the air in more than 30 radio station in the entire globe.

 

During more than his 15 years of trajectory, Behrenroth has excited local clubs in several continents (Deep LA) Distillery (Leipzig), Queens (Paris), Motorlounge (Detroit), House 22 (Pretoria)…, developing his sound skills and gathering an impressive discography in labels like Freerange, Compost Sonar Kollektiv and Deeper Shade of House, his own label. He would also remix artists of the size of Atjazz, The Rurals, Liquideep, Dubtribe, MJ Cole, Arnold Harvis and Sven Weisemann. When mixing, he moves like a fish in the water, between quality vocal house and the new electronic tendencies.
