CAIPIRINHA
CAIPIRINHA, a classic!
The Brazilian eslaves from XIXth Century drank at that time a beverage of sugar cane liquor (known as garapa) that, on celebrations, was mixed with lime and eau de vie. This mixture became the cachaça, the alcoholic base of caipirinha.
After that, came the lime juice and the mint and after some evolution became the caipirinha that we all know now.
No problem if you don't like a dry drink as cachaça!... try a caipiroska (with vodka) or the caipirissima (with rum)
So...? Do you fancy one?
