Martin is continuously called upon, from all around the world, for both his illustrious producer phase and his dance floor filling DJ skills.
He has a rebel skater infant background, from the northern part of England. Martin Iveson, AKA Atjazz, began at 17, producing music and sound effects for videogames like Tomb Raider. It would be 13 years later, that he would feel a call from electronic music, leaving his videogame career behind and starting to brilliantly move through the terrains of house, deep, hip hop and nu jazz from the early 90s.
His first productions were a total hit and his first album would reach Japan, with the help of Sony Music. His three projects after this (“Labfunk”, “Labresults” and “Full Circle”) would consolidate Atjazz as a different and inspiring voice in the international underground industry. Atjazz has also revealed himself as one of the most brilliant re-mixers, with an extensive collection, as a stimulant; Nitin Sawhney, Bob Sinclair, Jazzanova, Zed Bias & Omar, Miguel Migs, Swag, Brooks.. And he has even interpreted the “Pink Panther’s Theme” soundtrack for EMI.
In front of his own label, Atjazz Record Company, Martin is continually called upon from all over the world, for both his illustrious producer phase and his dance floor filling DJ skills. Mr. Atjazz deserves a red carpet.
