Black music roots

The great bands pioneers in the electronic sound, like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk and New Order were probably responsible that Simón García decided to put the headphones on and become a dj.

Also Simon, who was born at the end of the 70s, could not help but be tempted by the sound impacts represented by the Blaxplotation films soundtracks, taking as an example the classic "Shaft", and growing up surrounded by the latin-rock, rare disco, house and acid jazz at the time of his adolescence and irruption into the adult world, left a deep footprint in his musical unconscious.

Simon has collaborated with big labels like Poker Flat, Freerange, Pets, Compost, Supplement Facts, Perpectiv or Composite... among others, and his sound, timeless, genuine, and very personal, has gained the support of people like Guy Gerber, Laurent Garnier, Steve Bug, Jimpster and Catz ' N Dogz, that’s something!

His last tours are making him travel more than Willy Fog did: Mexico, Russia, Germany, etc... so having him tonight at Garito is a real luxury and a privilege, don't miss it!
