The computer man

Donna Summer greatest hits and the catchy melodies of the video games from the 80’s, were the basic foundations of life’s soundtrack of Ludovic Llorca, a French DJ, self-taught musician and producer, who visits us tonight in the form of Art of Tones, his most electronic & edgy project.

His skills of early composer in the world of electronic music (he started composing small melodies with his prehistoric Commodore 64 when he was 14!) cleared the way, and brought him to meet David Duriez in 1995, with whom he gave birth to Les Maçons de la Musique and the Brique Rouge label. It was precisely one of his demos, sent to F-Com, which led him to collaborate with the big Laurent Garnier and other great artists of the international scene, as well as with prestigious labels such as Compost Records, Freerange Records, Music Man Records, Local Talk, 2020 Vision, Brique Rouge, Room with a view, and a long etcetera.

His style has been defined as groovy house bossa, funk, soul and compared to artists like St. Germain or Atjazz; among his most successful EP are Can't Take It, Little Computer People and The End.

With AOT, one of his many akas where he presents his musical talents, it remains very clear his influence by American black music, which he deliciously mixes with electronic sounds, and giving rise to big hits, that have become regular visitors of the Pole positions in prestigious charts like Juno, Beatport or Traxsource.

With Membran Records He has released the Garden, his last album that has turned out to be a gift for the senses... join us & enjoy!
